COMPOSITION OF AUTHOR’S SUPERVISION
The primary task of author’s supervision is to control construction and engineering implementations, maintain communication with contractors, and act as the coordinating link among all project participants.
What’s included in author’s supervision:
- Remote coordination with builders: shared group for all participants and ongoing consulting.
- Site visits and control of compliance with the design during construction.
- Resolution of issues and discrepancies arising on site, including hidden conditions in structures and utilities.
- Clarification of drawings to reflect actual on‑site dimensions.
- Verification that construction and finishing works match the project.
- Preparation of additional drawings and detailing of nodes as needed.
- Creation of sketches for custom joinery items.
- Handling force‑majeure related to materials and equipment, for example:
- A material or furniture item is discontinued — the architect selects equivalents matching required parameters.
- Deliveries are delayed — where possible, the architect, together with the builders, resequences works so deadlines are unaffected.
- Photo and video documentation of construction progress.
This way, only author’s supervision ensures the client receives an interior that fully corresponds to the approved design project.
